Lend a hand to glass artist Melissa Schmidt. Using colorful glass beads that she has created, you’ll fashion a luminous sun catcher to hang in The Magic House’s expansion, and then make a miniature version to take home.
Melissa Schmidt creates hand-blown glass beads that resemble bubbles, taking advantage of light’s ability to make each orb glow. Melissa is on the staff of Craft Alliance, and her works have been exhibited at the St. Louis Art Fair, the Laumeier Contemporary Art Fair, the Missouri Arts Festival and many others.
