Pop goes the mural! In early celebration of National Bubble Day on March 20, join muralist Robert Ketchens to create a wall-sized work of art that will be displayed near The Magic House’s new bubble exhibit, Pop!

A native of New Orleans, Louisiana, Robert began his career as a medical illustrator with the U.S. Air Force. His military service allowed him to study works of art in museums throughout Europe. In 1985, Robert relocated to St. Louis, where he opened a studio and worked as an educator in community arts programs. Today he operates Ketchens Studios in southern Illinois.
