A Conversation with Ben—Alan J. Prewitt
Saturday, July 11 • 12:00 & 2:00 Performances

Sunday, July 12 • 12:00 & 2:00 Performances

Benjamin Franklin, one of America’s favorite Founding Fathers, makes a post-Independence Day visit to The Magic House when actor Alan J. Prewitt presents A Conversation with Ben. Alan takes the stage of the Legislative Chamber in the Star-Spangled Center to present an electrifying one-man show about Franklin’s accomplishments as an author, statesman and inventor.

Originally from St. Louis, Alan J. Prewitt is an award-winning actor, playwright and director now living in Hannibal, Missouri. He spent more than 27 years in Arizona as the founding artistic director and playwright-in-residence for Phoenix Theatre’s Cookie Company, an ensemble that performs for young audiences. Alan has brought his portrayal of Benjamin Franklin to classrooms and events across the country for more than 12 years.
