2005 – Zagat Survey Announces The Magic House is the #1 National Attraction for Child Appeal
We’re Number One! Have you heard the news? The Magic House has surpassed the kingdom, the Magic Kingdom that is! According to the U.S. Family Travel Guide from travel guide powerhouse Zagat Survey, The Magic House has topped the charts as the national attraction with the most appeal to children. The guide’s team of surveyors said The Magic House, which received a perfect 30 out of 30 score in child appeal, is “sure to fascinate all ages” and “makes science fun.” Zagat Survey, which worked in collaboration with Parenting magazine, employed the same research techniques for the U.S. Family Travel Guide as it uses for its popular restaurant guides.
2005 – The St. Louis Business Journal Names Beth Fitzgerald, President of The Magic House, as one of the Most Influential Business Women in St. Louis. 
Fitzgerald is the first and only president of The Magic House since it opened in 1979.
2002 – FamilyFun Magazine Names The Magic House a Top 10 Museum in the Midwest
FamilyFun Magazine a Disney monthly periodical that is one of th e most popular family magazines in the country, named The Magic House as one of the top 10 museums in the Midwest, in the company of the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago.
2001 – FamilyFun Magazine Lists The Magic House as a Top 10 Family Attraction Nationwide
FamilyFun Magazine listed The Magic House as one of the top 10 family attractions in the U.S. —the only Missouri attraction to win that title. The announcement was made on the Today Show. The list included Disney World, Sea World, Mount Rushmore, the City of Washington D.C. —and The Magic House. |
