PART-TIME POSITIONS
Museum Guide
Museum guides are the backbone of The Magic House! Museum guides act as public relations liaisons with visitors, assist visitors with exhibits, supervise youth volunteer staff, report exhibits in need of repair to management and perform other duties as assigned. It is important that museum guides are familiar with the history of the museum, know emergency procedures and know current special event information.
Position Requirements
- At least 16 years of age.
- Experience working with children preferred
- Ability to lift 30 pounds

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Youth Volunteers
Students ages 13 and above are needed to assist visitors of all ages with more than 100 hands-on exhibits. Volunteers have the opportunity to work alongside students their own age while working a two to four hour shift each week. Students are required to volunteer a minimum of 12 hours.

Adult Volunteers
Adult volunteers are needed for a wide range of activities. These could include assisting museum teachers with field trips or toddler programs or assisting with special events.
