Earth Day

Whether you've got a green thumb or picking up a spade for the first time, sprouts of all ages are invited to dig into the fun as we celebrate Earth Day. In partnership with Gateway Greening, this green event will focus on hands-on activities where kids will decorate pots, plant a seed, learn how to create their own herb and vegetable garden and explore the Museum’s Sunshine Classroom.

Grooving in the Garden

Take an evening under the stars at the Museum’s Grooving in the Garden Concert Series. Families can dance and sing the night away in the front play garden.

National Get Outdoors Day

Take a shine to the summery weather and join The Magic House as we celebrate the great outdoors. Fresh-air fun will fill the Museum's front and back yards, promoting health through movement and play. Have an adventure at Sandcastle Beach, practice Tai Chi and other Chinese Martial arts in the open air or hop, skip and jump as you try jumping jacks, hula-hooping, discovering ways to be healthy all around The Magic House.
