Is The Magic House geared to a specific age level ?
The Magic House is fun for every one from 1 to 101! The museum has exhibits and activities geared for children young and old.
Little ones under two will love the For Baby & Me area. Inspired by nursery rhymes, this space includes a miniature school bus, rowboat, peek-a-boo barn and baby gym.
Children ages 1 to 6 enjoy A Little Bit of Magic with exhibits like the Puppet Wall, Texture Tunnel, Sand Play and WaterWorks.
Older children will enjoy pretending in our Children's Village, complete with a market, TV studio and fishing pond; playing detective in Can You Solve the Mystery; and role playing in the Star-Spangled Center, complete with a courtroom, Oval Office and legislative chamber.
What is the best time to visit The Magic House?
If you are looking to avoid the crowd, the best time to visit The Magic House on weekends and during the summer, is late afternoon and on a weekday.

The Magic House is currently accepting donations for both our So Much More expansion project and Star Society, our field trip scholarship program for under-served youth.

Do you have food service?
The Magic House has the Picnic Basket Cafe that offers a wide selection of delicious and healthy sandwiches, soups and salads, as well as wholesome snacks and sides. The Star Kid’s Menu is also available that includes a kid-sized sandwich on whole wheat bread with an apple, yogurt or crackers and a drink.
Do you have picnic facilities?
When weather and event schedules permit, the outdoor pavilion can be used for picnicking. It is available on a first come, first served basis.

The Magic House receives many donation requests every year. For The Magic House to consider your request, the charity’s mission must include enhancing the lives of young children.
