Volunteer at The Magic House
Want to get personally involved at The Magic House? Become a volunteer and enjoy the museum from a whole new perspective! You’ll see the joy on the faces of our visitors as they experience our exhibits, and know that you’re contributing to a valuable hands-on learning experience.
Youth Volunteers
Have fun, play with kids and complete your service hours! Students ages 13 and above have the opportunity to work alongside other students as Play Assistants on the museum floor.

Adult Volunteers
Adult volunteers are needed for a wide range of activities. If you love children and/or office work, we can find a place for you!

Family Volunteers
Family groups of three to five people age 8 and older are welcome at The Magic House for one-time opportunities. For a three-hour shift, your family will work together to oversee one of our exhibit areas, like the Expericenter or the Construction Zone. Please note: A parent or legal guardian must be present with all volunteers under 13. We ask for a ratio of no more than two children per adult.

Volunteer Groups
Groups of all kinds are welcome at the Magic House to help behind the scenes. We especially welcome groups on weekdays, but some Saturday opportunities are available. We can use assistance with groundskeeping projects and prepping materials for special events and birthday parties. Please note that all group members must be at least 13 years old.
