Family Nights
Bring your school community together with Family Nights at The Magic House! Designed for schools and non-profit organizations, our Family Nights offer an exciting opportunity for families to interact, play, and learn in our engaging and educational exhibits.
Included with your Family Night:
- Private playtime from 6-8 p.m.
- Free admission for children and their families
- Use of exhibits within the wing you rent
- An onsite facility manager
- Magic House staff members to monitor the exhibits
- Complimentary parking

North Wing
The North Wing features family fun exhibits, including the World Traveler Gallery, Traveling Exhibit Gallery, and Jack and the Beanstalk Climber.
Capacity: 500 per wing
Availability: Wednesday through Sunday evenings from 6-8 pm
Rental Fee: $750 per wing, both wings $1,500
South Wing
The South Wing includes the ever-popular Children’s Village, Bubble Room, Electrostatic Generator, STEAM Center three-story Super Slide, Wonder Works and more.
Capacity: 500 per wing
Availability: Wednesday through Sunday evenings from 6-8 pm
Rental Fee: $750 per wing, both wings $1,500
Grant-Funded Opportunities
Your school or organization may be eligible for a Free Family Night! The Magic House, St. Louis Children’s Museum is proud to be the recipient of several generous grants to make the Museum accessible to all kids and Title 1 schools, as well as schools with 50 percent or more students that qualify for free and reduced lunch. Please note that these evenings are available on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information or to see if your group qualifies, fill out an inquiry form.
