Ways to Give

The true cost of providing high-quality, hands-on exhibits and programs goes beyond admission fees. Community support ensures that The Magic House can fulfill its commitment to reach those children in our region who have the fewest opportunities and greatest needs.

Annual Giving Fund

A gift to our Annual Giving Fund provides support for the Museum’s hands-on exhibits, unique programs and learning experiences for children of all ages and abilities, free field trips, outreach programs and family nights for children in need. Click to donate now, make a pledge or schedule a recurring gift.

Star Society

The Star Society is a committed group of supporters whose annual contributions of $1,000 or more help brighten the lives of those children in our region who have the greatest needs and fewest opportunities.

Star Society members enjoy the following benefits:

  • Recognition on the Star Donor Wall;
  • Recognition in the annual report and an issue of the Kaleidoscope newsletter;
  • An invitation to the annual Great Friend to Kids donor appreciation breakfast;
  • Invitations to VIP Private Play Dates;
  • An annual Family Membership that includes free admission for additional guests.

Tribute Gifts

Honor the memory of a friend or loved one or celebrate a special occasion with a unique gift while supporting The Magic House. Contributions are entirely tax-deductible and are acknowledged with a personal letter sent from The Magic House as requested by the donor. Contact the Development Office for details.

Planned Giving

Invest in the future of The Magic House! Supporting the Museum through a planned gift is a way to establish a permanent legacy that will brighten the lives of children for generations to come. Planned giving enables you to give gifts of assets that benefit your family both now and in the future. Individuals who support The Magic House through planned giving are recognized as members of The Magic House’s Founders Society.

Please contact the Development Office for details.

Endowment

Gifts to the endowment help secure the financial future of The Magic House and will impact the lives of children in the St. Louis region for generations to come. As an important financial foundation for its future, The Magic House is seeking to raise $20 million in endowed support by 2020. The endowment would provide much needed annual income to ensure support of the facility, education programs and the highest priority needs of the Museum.

Please contact the Development Office for details.

Committee Volunteer Opportunites

The Magic House committee volunteers share their time, talents and resources to further the mission of the Museum. The Magic House has three volunteer committees, including the Friends Committee, Grand Committee and Young Professionals Board.  These individuals help plan, organize and execute fundraising events.
