Tony Artz is a St. Louis-based kinetic performance painter who calls his style of work an "art explosion." Tony's original passion was track and field, but he sustained an injury while training for the Olympic trials. Now he applies that energy to canvases as he uses multiple brushes, hands and even his elbows to create a bold, colorful portrait in minutes. Many of his subjects are African-Americans who have had a tremendous impact on history.
