School Field Trip FAQ
One adult chaperone is required for every five children. Facilitated field trip groups are limited to a maximum of 15 chaperones, not including teachers.
Buses should pull onto our parking lot via Woodbine Avenue. A staff member will guide your group to the appropriate drop-off location. Buses will be required to park offsite during the time of your field trip.
Groups with at least one adult chaperone for every five children may explore The Magic House after their field trip until 12:00 p.m. Groups who would like to stay beyond 12:00 pm are able to pay an additional fee of $7.50 per person.
School groups can bring food to the Museum’s outdoor pavilion, located off the parking lot. These facilities are available on a first come, first served basis. Outside food is not allowed within the Museum or Picnic Basket Café.
Memberships, passes and coupons are for public hour use only and cannot be used during a reserved field trip program.
