The Magic House hosts a variety of programs for families to enjoy throughout the school year including our Petite Picasso art classes for children ages 3–5 and their special grownup and Scout Camp-Ins where scouts spend the night at The Magic House!
Petite Picasso Classes
Children ages 3–5 and their special grownup discover the magic of art through 4-week multi-sensory art classes in the Museum’s Art Studio. Each monthly session features a different theme designed to introduce budding artists to a variety of unique art experiences that encourage exploration, creativity, symbolic thinking and fine motor development.
Sign up for sessions which meet on Tuesday morning from 9:30 am to 10:30 am throughout the month.

Scouts are invited to troop over to The Magic House for their next camping adventure! On select evenings, scouts can camp in the great indoors and have The Magic House all to themselves as they explore the Museum after dark, sleep “under the exhibits” and more! During this special evening, Brownies will complete the Celebrating Community Journey and Juniors will work toward completing the Inside Government Journey.
Participants will enjoy an evening snack, a light breakfast and receive a special Magic House photo button and Camp-In patch. Check-in is at 7:30 pm, check-out is at 8:00 am. One adult for every five scouts.
