Plan a Play-cation at The Magic House this Spring Break

ST LOUIS (March 11, 2025) – With a little magic, families can transform their ordinary spring break vacation into a play-cation with a trip to The Magic House, St. Louis Children’s Museum! During Spring Break, the Museum will have extended hours from March 14 through March 30: Monday through Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Sundays from 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Featured special exhibits include Super WHY!: Super Readers, Power Up! an exhibit that brings the beloved PBS KIDS® show to life, allowing children to step into Storybrook Village and explore classic stories and fairytales. Additionally, visitors can take a trip to South America by exploring Argentina’s Niños, an exhibit that offers a vibrant cultural experience where kids can play soccer, make empanadas, and paint the colorful streets of La Boca.

Special events included with Museum admission during Spring Break are:

March 14 Pi Day: Experience a day of math, science, and St. Louis pride! Enjoy the Science of Slime Shows, Pi Day Storytimes, exciting math games in Math Path, and get an iconic “Hair on End” Photo Button at the Electrostatic Generator for just $3.14!

March 15 On-Stage Performance Series: Ignite Theatre Company brings the magic of the Hundred Acre Woods to life with scenes and songs from Winnie-the-Pooh.

March 17 St. Patrick’s Day: Wear green and participate in festive St. Patrick’s Day activities in the Art Studio! Create paper sculpture rainbows, make shamrock art, explore the beauty of green monochromatic art, and enjoy other fun, themed crafts throughout the day!

March 20 Cardinals Day: Kick off baseball season at Cardinal’s Day! Decorate a Cardinals pennant, meet Fredbird from 1 – 2pm, and kids 12 and under who wear Cardinal’s gear will enjoy half-price admission!

Daily, families can enjoy interactive Story Time in the new Story Time Theater at 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. and spring-themed art projects in the Art Studio.

The Magic House’s Picnic Basket Café provides a convenient dining option with kid-friendly meals, and pre-ordering is available for a stress-free lunch experience.

All-day admission to The Magic House is $15 per person for visitors 1 year and above. Parking is available onsite free of charge.
