Private Lessons at MADE for Kids

All ages and skill levels 

All ages are invited to master their skillset with private lessons in 3D printing, Laser Cutting, Stop Motion Animation, Beginner LEGO Robotics, Sewing, Pottery or General Art.  Each lesson includes one-on-one training with a MADE Mentor for up to three children as well as all materials to create a custom piece to take home, plus all-day admission to The Magic House, MADE for Kids

$25 per session, includes all-day admission to MADE for Kids.

Looking for Virtual Options? 

Join us for a video conference style lesson to master your skillset with private lessons in painting, oil pastel, chalk, collage or tinkercad.  Each lesson includes one-on-one interactive training with a MADE Mentor. 

$25 per session. Following your registration, a member of our staff will be in touch to finalize video conference line details.

Painting
Watercolor 3 ways! 

  • Pencil, eraser, salt, oil pastels, 3 or more sheets of 9×12 watercolor paper (printer paper and construction paper are too thin), tissue paper, 2-3 brushes various sizes, watercolor and a cup of water. (Apron optional).

Acrylic – Abstract Geometric Design

  • Ruler, pencil, eraser, 1 piece of watercolor paper 9×12 OR 1 canvas 9×9 or 9×12 (printer paper and construction paper are too thin), 2-3 brushes various sizes, acrylic paint, cup of water, paper plate (to mix colors).

Oil Pastel – Still Life

  • Ruler, pencil, eraser, oil pastels, and white construction paper 12×18.

Chalk – Landscape

  • Ruler, pencil, eraser, chalk pastels (not sidewalk chalk), white construction paper: two 9×12 or one 12×18, scissors, and 2-3 pieces of cardstock paper.

Collage
Portrait

  • Ruler, pencil, eraser, construction paper of various colors, gluestick, scissors, white construction paper: two 9×12 or one 12×18, and crayons or markers.

Cityscape

  • Ruler, pencil, eraser, construction paper of various colors, gluestick, scissors, various shaped containers (cereal boxes, fruit snack box, etc) or wooden building blocks, white construction paper: two 9×12 or one 12×18, and crayons or markers.

Tinkercad – Key Chain or Small Plant Pot

  • Computer with internet access.
