Be a Hero Like
George Washington
George Washington was committed to learning and building himself, even though his life was hard. After his father died, he learned at home. At age fifteen, he got a job as a surveyor. The work was hard, but he kept going. He lost his first battle. He lost his first election. But he kept going. When the colonies needed a leader for the military, he was selected. When the country needed a leader, he was selected. George was brave. He was trustworthy. He had the courage to be first and lead the way for others.
