Preschool STEAM Programs include:

Caterpillar Creations 

• Featuring the story Becoming Charley by Kelly DiPucchio, young children will explore the life cycle of a butterfly. Following the story, students will tap into math and art skills to create pattern caterpillars and symmetrical watercolor wings.

Web Wonders

• Featuring the story Walter’s Wonderful Web by Tim Hopgood, young children will examine the lines and shapes created by a spider’s web. Utilizing unique shape stamps and paint dotters, students will print their own wonderful webs and count together to create eight-legged critters!

Red, Ripe & Mine!

• Featuring the book Mine! by Candace Fleming, young children are invited to enjoy playful repetition, make simple predictions, and explore the concepts of sharing. Students will then use torn paper and collage techniques to create their own unique apple masterpieces and explore apple science through hands-on sink and float experiments. A perfect mix of literacy, art and discovery!

Math and More with The Three Little Pigs

• It’s big fun for little learners! Children will explore the world of the Three Little Pigs to discover the simple math concepts of counting and size order.
