From dance to drama to musical performances, experience the magic of theater with our new On-Stage Performance Series. Designed to inspire a love of the arts and dramatic play, monthly performances will take place in Story Time Theater or Whitaker Theater.
On-Stage Performance Series events are free with Museum admission.

Christian the Magician

This summer, prepare to be amazed by Christian the Magician’s family-friendly magic show, perfect for all ages! With over 40 years of experience, Christian brings a unique blend of magic, juggling, and humor to every performance, guaranteeing laughter and wonder for children, parents and grandparents alike. Get ready to witness mind-boggling illusions, laugh-out-loud comedy, and feel the joy of a truly magical summer show!
Christian is fueled by a passion for entertaining and a desire to bring joy to others. He has performed at a variety of St. Louis venues such as Grant’s Farm, Union Station, the St. Louis Science Center, and 15-years at the City Museum. As a practicing attorney, Christian brings an added level of professionalism and attention to detail to his magic shows, ensuring a seamless and unforgettable experience for all.

Circus Harmony

Join real life St. Louis children who ran away and joined the circus, but who still get home in time for dinner! Youth circus performers from Circus Harmony will present an exciting show with amazing acrobatics, joyful juggling, brave balancing and much more! They will then take your questions about what it is like to be in the circus!
Circus Harmony teaches the art of life through circus education. They work to build character and expand community for youth of all ages, cultures, abilities and backgrounds. Through the teaching and performing of circus arts, they help people defy gravity, soar with confidence, and leap over social barriers, all at the same time!
