Grooving in the Garden

Join us for Grooving in the Garden, a musical extravaganza that is sure to hit the right note with visitors of all ages. On the second Friday of the month throughout the summer from 4:00 to 7:00 pm, families can dance and sing the night away in the front garden while enjoying samples from Andyís Frozen Custard (while supplies last).

The Kids Games

August 6
8:00 am

Game on! Pint-sized athletes go for the gold at The Kids Games, an Olympic-themed event at The Magic House. Kids compete in Olympic-style track and field events located at the Nipher Middle School Track. All competitors will get to decorate their very own bib number and receive a commemorative race t-shirt as well as healthy snacks to help them fuel up for the track and field events. In honor of their victory, all athletes will be presented with a medal. Registration includes all-day admission for the participant to The Magic House.

Cost:

$12 members, $18 non-members.



Dolls & Desserts with American Girl

Saturday, August 13
6:00 to 9:00 pm

The Magic House will seem more like a dollhouse when children are invited to bring their best doll friends to the Museum for Dolls & Desserts with American Girl! Guests will enjoy scrumptious desserts, make a fun craft from American Girl to take home and have the Museum all to themselves to explore with their doll. Children can even have their photo taken with their dollís hair on end at the Van De Graaff generator. After the hair-raising experience, children will have the opportunity to get their favorite doll all dolled up at the exclusive American Girl doll salon!

$20 per person
$15 per member



Kids' Flea Market

September 25, 2016
11:00 am – 3:00 pm

The Magic House is looking for enterprising kids 16 years and younger to sell their handmade craft items, outgrown toys, books, baseball cards, games and more at the Museumís Annual Kidsí Flea Market. Not only is this a great opportunity for kids to make their own money, but they can also earn extra points with their parents by cleaning out their rooms! This event is great for bargain hunters as well and is open to the public for shopping. There will be all kinds of hidden treasures to discover. In addition to the great bargains, there will be music and fun activities for the whole family to enjoy while visiting.

The Kidsí Flea Market will take place rain or shine.
