Be a Hero Like
Abraham Lincoln

Abraham Lincoln grew up on a farm. His family did not have much and he had to work really hard. He read everything he could get his hands on and often walked for miles to borrow a book. He practiced writing and speaking. Abraham was a gifted storyteller and worked a number of different jobs including splitting logs. He eventually became a lawyer, and then president. Throughout his life, Abraham Lincoln used his voice to speak for others. He stood up for people who needed his strength. When he saw injustice, he used his voice for good.
