Be a Hero Like
Rosa Parks

Rosa Parks learned at a young age to stand up for herself. She was taught to respect herself despite discrimination and unfair conditions. As an adult she worked to change things. She listened to people’s stories and fought for fairer laws. She stood up for herself by refusing to give up her seat on a bus to a white man and started a movement. She inspired others to work together for justice. Rosa Parks showed the nation that if people try to make you feel less than, you must stand strong and stand up for yourself.
