The Magic House, St. Louis Children’s Museum is a family attraction with hundreds of active learning exhibits and activities that are both educational and fun!
Your reservation includes exploration of over 60,000 square feet of interactive exhibits including our featured temporary exhibits including Dinosaur Train: The Traveling Exhibit opening January 23, Kenya’s Kids, our outdoor exhibits and more!

Admission Rates
General admission is $12.00 (ages one and above).
Active-duty U.S. military and their immediate family members (military ID holder and five immediate family members) receive free admission. Contact info@magichouse.org for details on how to reserve your free visit.

The Magic House is located in Kirkwood, Missouri, a suburb of St. Louis. Kirkwood Road is the section of Lindbergh Boulevard north of Highway 44 and south of Manchester Road.
From the Lindbergh exit, The Magic House is located one mile north of I-44 or four miles south of I-40/64.
Parking is always free and is available in a large lot behind the Museum. During the summer and on weekends, additional parking is available at Nipher Middle School south of the Museum on Kirkwood Road and Concordia Lutheran Church across the street from the Museum.
Public Transit
Metro
Monday through Saturday, visitors can ride Metrolink to the Shrewsbury Station. From there take bus #56 to The Magic House. For schedules and additional information, please visit www.metrostlouis.org.
Amtrak
Amtrak’s Kirkwood Station is only five blocks from The Magic House with trains arriving daily. For schedules and additional information, please visit www.amtrak.com.
New Procedures
The Magic House adheres to all CDC, local and state safety guidelines including, limiting attendance to a small portion of our capacity to allow for social distancing and requiring all staff as well as visitors over 5 years old to wear masks. Hand sanitizer and wipe stations are placed throughout the Museum and staff members are cleaning continuously throughout all public hours. Learn more.
